Biography

A practitioner who kept asking research questions

I am a civil engineer with sixteen years in construction practice, an MBA, and the architect of the GCLM 2.0 (Global Construction Leadership Model) framework. I currently serve as Construction Director at Madeen Building Contracting LLC OPC in Ras Al Khaimah, and I have led more than three hundred projects internationally across residential, commercial and infrastructure development.

Alongside delivery, I founded the Papple Holdings Advisory Network — a multi-entity advisory organisation operating through Pappleworld FZE LLC in the UAE, Papple Holdings Advisory Group LLC in Texas, Papple Global Limited in the United Kingdom and Papple Inc. in Calgary. The network is built around an open talent model in which advisors retain the substantial majority of engagement fees.

My research focus is AI-powered decision intelligence, smart infrastructure systems, digital twins, and the governance frameworks that next-generation infrastructure will need. The AI-GCLM framework I developed sets out six pillars — strategic visioning, data-driven decision making, lean and agile execution, human-centred team leadership, technology and AI integration, and the two newer constructs of autonomous intelligence leadership and regenerative sustainability stewardship.

That framework is not a thought experiment. Each pillar was drawn from patterns visible across delivered programmes, then tested against the CMEC cross-market economic contribution model spanning UAE, UK and USA construction practice to 2050.
