AI-GCLM — Artificial Intelligence-Enhanced Global Construction Leadership

Six leadership pillars extended by autonomous intelligence leadership and regenerative sustainability stewardship — a framework for how AI and human judgement combine on major programmes.

AI-GCLM extends the Global Construction Leadership Model into the territory where artificial intelligence begins participating in executive decisions rather than merely reporting on them.

The pillars

Strategic visioning; data-driven decision making; lean and agile execution; human-centred team leadership; technology and AI integration. Two further constructs emerged from the later work: autonomous intelligence leadership, which addresses what leadership becomes when systems decide within defined bounds, and regenerative sustainability stewardship, which asks whether a programme leaves its surrounding system better than it found it.

Why the human-centred pillar sits in the middle

Across the delivered programmes the framework draws on, the technology pillar was never the one that failed. Adoption failed. The human-centred pillar is what decides whether the other five are operated or merely documented.
